Seafood Processing Scales & Automation
Our heavy duty stainless steel scales keep production running even in the harshest seafood processing environments. With software written to account for glaze, flow, and other seafood industry specific needs, Morrison delivers accurate data for your operation.

Morrison provides equipment for the US and Canadian seafood industry, including support and specialty equipment for wild seafood processing in Alaska. Our engineers and technicians travel to Alaskan fisheries in the offseason to plan and install new projects, as well as providing support during the season.
Automated bag weigh and label lines for frozen fish, frozen fish pan scales, fresh or IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) weight graders, and fresh or frozen fish checkweighers are equipment Morrison provides for the Seafood industry. Our equipment is heavy duty full washdown stainless and often can be modified for use with lobster, crab, or other types of seafood. Since we design and fabricate all of our equipment in house, we tailor each system to meet the specific size and weight requirements of the species being harvested.
Our software for the Seafood industry is written to fulfill the specific needs of seafood processors, including specialized items like glaze percentage, and considerations for the fast paced and often international nature of seafood sales. Our systems allow for quick label changes to meet the needs of foreign buyers and easy modification to product specification requirements.
We strive to keep our systems simple and flexible, and to build in remote network access whenever possible so customer’s home office IT teams can easily access equipment settings and data even from hundreds of miles away.
