The Morrison SLAP is a "Servo Label Applicator Printer" that automatically applies labels on one or two faces of a box at high speed.
The labels are applied with a flexible carbon fiber arm on a servo motor, moving at ultra high speed. Due to the high speed of the system, no pressurized air is used, and the SLAP is all electric. This simplifies maintenance, saves cost over the life of the device, and helps achieve sustainability initiatives.
